Bhumandala Award tahun 2023 Senin 6/11/2023 malam digelar di Dscovery Kartika Plaza Hotel . Bhumandala Award dilaksanakan setahun sekali ini utk menerima Apresiasi kepada kementerian lembaga dan pemerintah daerah dalam berinovasi dalam pemanfaatan informasi geospasial.

Kepala Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) Muh Aris Marfa’i dalam wawancaranya menyampaikan untuk tahun ini ada 70 inovasi dari 50 kementerian serta 20 Lembaga dan Pemda. ” Kita sangat berharap pemanfaatan Geospasial ini bisa lebih luas lagi utk tahun tahun kedepan” katanya.

Bhumandala Award atau Penghargaan Bhumandala merupakan wujud apresiasi dan pengakuan yang diberikan Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) kepada kementerian, lembaga, dan pemerintah daerah yang diniali unggul dalam pengembangan dan penerapan pemanfaatan Informasi Geospasial (IG).

Konsep ‘Bhumandala’ diambil dari filsafat sansekerta, yang menandakan kesatuan mendalam antara umat manusia dan alam semesta. Tujuan utama dari penghargaan ini adalah agar menginspirasi dan memotivasi lebih banyak pihak untuk turut berkontribusi terhadap pelestarian alam dan lingkungan, sehingga menjunjung tinggi keberlanjutan planet kita.

Pada 2023, Penghargaan Bhumandala diberikan untuk tiga kategori, yaitu:
1. Bhumandala Informasi Geospasial Batas Desa/Kelurahan
Bhumandala Informasi Geospasial Batas Desa/Kelurahan diselenggarakan oleh Pusat Pemetaan Batas Wilayah (PPBW). Kategori baru di Penghargaan Bhumandala ini diberikan untuk mengapresiasi pemerintah daerah yang telah menyelenggarakan Informasi Geospasial Dasar (IGD), dalam hal ini unsur batas wilayah terutama batas desa/kelurahan.
Bhumandala Informasi Geospasial Batas Desa/Kelurahan selaras dengan komitmen pemerintah untuk pelaksanaan kebijakan satu peta, salah satunya percepatan penyediaan unsur batas wilayah sebagai bagian dari perwujudan IGD. Perolehan data batas wilayah dilakukan sesuai dengan tahapan yang diamanatkan dalam Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 45 Tahun 2016 tentang Pedoman Penetapan dan Penegasan Batas Desa (PPBDes).
Parameter dan tahapan penilaian untuk kategori ini adalah kualitas data dan aktivitas terkait yang mendukung tercapainya keluaran unsur batas desa/kelurahan yang sesuai dengan ketentuan teknis pemetaan.

2. Bhumandala Nama Rupabumi
Bhumandala Nama Rupabumi dilaksanakan semenjak 2022 oleh Pusat Pemetaan Rupabumi dan Toponim BIG. Penghargaan ini merupakan bentuk penghargaan kepada instansi pemerintah pusat (kementerian/lembaga) dan pemerintah daerah (provinsi, kabupaten, dan kota) yang dinilai telah melaksanakan penyelenggaraan nama rupabumi dengan sangat baik, sehingga manfaatnya terasa untuk tertib administrasi pemerintahan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.
Bhumandala Nama Rupabumi adalah bagian dari mekanisme pemantauan dan evaluasi teknis yang diamanatkan oleh PP 2/2021 tentang Penyelenggaraan Nama Rupabumi. Bahwa nama rupabumi sangat penting karena memberi konteks dan konten pada sebuah peta. Tanpa nama rupabumi, peta hanya sebuah gambar yang minim informasi. Selain itu, nama memiliki nilai penting terpaut dengan pelestarian budaya, adat istiadat, dan sejarah. Sehingga penyelenggaraannya membutuhkan kerja keras dan patut diapresiasi.

3. Bhumandala Inovasi Pemanfaatan Informasi Geospasial
Penghargaan Bhumandala Inovasi Pemanfaatan Informasi Geospasial adalah pemberian apresiasi kepada pemerintah pusat dan daerah yang dinilai berhasil mengembangkan inovasi pemanfaatan Informasi Geospasial (IG) dalam tata kelola pemerintahannya, sehingga berdampak pada produktivitas maupun efektivitas kinerja lembaga.
Bhumandala Inovasi Pemanfaatan IG telah dilaksanakan sejak 2017 dan merupakan ajang sela untuk Penghargaan Bhumandala Simpul Jaringan Nasional.

Penghargaan Bhumandala ini telah menunjukan secara nyata bagaimana implementasi pelaksanaan Peraturan Presiden terkait Satu Data Indonesia (Perpres 23 Tahun 2021) dan Jaringan Informasi Geospasial Nasional (Perpres 27 Tahun 2014), yang dilakukan dalam kerangka besar penyelenggaraan pemerintahan yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk memberikan l
